Hestra, the Ice Queen of the North and one of the five legendary mages. Despite her title, Hestra does not actually rule over a sovereign country with citizens. Rather, she has gained the name by being the only resident of the far northern region known as Cartheim. The land here is harsh, and covered year round by snow and ice. Very little grows or lives in these lands, and those that do are creatures of monstrous size, stopping even some of the strongest adventurers from venturing deep into Cartheim.
