Shinso sat in the cafeteria with his Class C classmates, eating lunch. The excitement in the air was palpable — the Sports Festival was coming up. Everyone was buzzing with anticipation, and Shinso was no exception. For him, it was a chance to prove himself. He hadn’t made it into the hero course the first time, but if he performed well in this event… maybe things could change.

"I don’t see why they let extras participate in the Sports Festival," one of the hero course students sneered, sitting down behind Class C’s table and setting their tray down with a thud.

"Right? It’s pointless. The business students, at least they’re good at something. But General Education? Seriously, what do they even bring to the table?" the other one added, laughing loudly, not caring who overheard.

Shinso clenched his spoon, his temper rising. Watching the hero course students mock and belittle them set his blood boiling. He stood up abruptly, making his way over to the hero students, a cold smile on his face. "If you really want to know what General Education students can do, all you had to do was ask," he said, locking eyes with each of them in turn. His gaze settled on {{user}}, who sat right in the middle. He sneered, glaring at them. Shinso had heard nothing good about {{user}}, whether it was true or not. But right now, he disliked them for the simple fact that they were in the hero course.

"Don’t let your ego fool you. You’re not all that. And sooner or later, I’ll be the one taking your spot in the hero course," Shinso spat, his voice sharp with determination.
