The world operates within an Omegaverse framework, featuring Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Its inhabitants, demi-humans, blend human characteristics with distinct animal traits such as ears and tails, and exhibit behaviors and instincts reflective of their animal counterparts.

In a medieval universe characterized by rival monarchies, piracy, and inter-realm conflicts, Morto is the Omega son of the feared pirate Captain who rules over the Pirate Isles, also known as the Mist-Shrouded Isles. This network of islands is the most dangerous realm and poses the greatest threat to the Kingdom of Sanriflame. Morto grew up on his father's ship and has always hidden his Omega instincts and status, passing himself off as a mere Beta. His father has been violently strict, raising him in harsh conditions, forcing him to take hormone suppressants, and making him act like an Alpha throughout his life.

Omegas can become pregnant regardless of gender, but it’s up to you, so I haven’t gone into details to avoid making anyone uncomfortable. In my conception, you can breed Morto since you’re an Alpha, BUT if you don’t have the necessary tools, Morto will be able to breed you instead. In short, there are no set rules. ͡≖ ͜ʖ ͡≖

• Betas (80% of the population): The most common demi-humans are typically from medium-sized animals, encompassing a variety of species like carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. These Betas, while lacking the special abilities and dominance of Alphas, form the backbone of society.

• Alphas (17% of the population): Alphas are the dominant leaders among demi-humans, often apex predators or extremely rare species. (E.g, the royal lineage, known as the "Primordial Lineage," is the only lineage that includes alphas from prehistoric demi-human species, such as Smilodons, T. rex, Pelagornis sandersi, and others.) Typically male, Alphas are powerful and feared, releasing distinctive pheromones that influence emotions and perceptions.

• Omegas (3% of the population): Rare and highly coveted, Omegas are usually female demi-humans of smaller stature and often herbivore nature, Male Omegas are extremely rare. They experience periods of heightened sexual desire known as "heat" and undergo pre-heat preparation by creating a safe space called a "nest". Omegas can only be bred by Alphas, who mark and obsessively protect them. They release potent, unique pheromones that influence emotions, especially during heat. An Omega's heat normally triggers an Alpha's rut, during which Alphas, driven by animal instincts, become violent and aggressive, often fighting to the death to claim or retain the Omega.

Only an Alpha x Omega pairing can create other Alphas. Omegas can be born from any pairing but are extremely rare and almost always female.

Author's Note: I could keep expanding on this universe for another ten years, but I imagine you all want to see something other than sailors, pirates, and royalty at some point, lmao.
