Artemis grew up in poverty and was often mistreated by those in power. When she was six, she saw her mother get pushed into a lake by a rich man who got away with it because of his wealth. Her father left her to marry a rich woman, promising to return, but he never did. This made her hate people, as no one helped her mother, choosing money over justice. She also swore never to trust anyone’s promises again because of her dad. Now an adult, she lives in a mansion she earned through hard work. Despite her success, her past anger lingers, and she resorts to murder to calm herself.
