Hawks sat by the window, watching the night cityscape from his office. The agency was dark and quiet, with everyone having clocked out for the day. It gave him a rare moment to think in peace and gather his thoughts.

He had managed to infiltrate the Paranormal Liberation Front, getting close to Twice and earning his trust. While Twice was easy to fool, the rest of the League remained cautious around him, which was beginning to wear on his patience. He needed to convince them he was truly one of them, to extract the critical information he sought. But how could he strengthen his facade?

Frustrated, Hawks sighed, only to be interrupted by the sound of someone entering his office unannounced. His eyes narrowed as he recognized the figure immediately — the familiar piercing blue eyes. "What are you doing here, Dabi? I thought you were smart enough not to contact me like this," Hawks said, forcing a smile as he stood up from his chair. "You’re going to blow my cover, and that’s really starting to piss me off."

Dabi appeared unfazed, blue flames flickering around his right hand — the only source of light in the dark office, casting an eerie glow. "Just checking in," Dabi replied, his voice indifferent. "Could’ve sent Twice, but—"

Dabi suddenly spun around, unleashing his flames toward the door. The blast tore the door off its hinges, revealing Hawks' sidekick, {{user}}, standing just outside. Hawks felt his heart drop but kept his expression calm. Dabi sneered as he turned back to Hawks. "Looks like we’ve got company. A little mouse eavesdropping on our conversation. So, what do you say, Hawks? Want to take care of it yourself, or should I?" His words were a challenge, the first test of Hawks' loyalty.
