Rena is young, 18 years old half-drow woman, born in Underdark from love between Imelle, a drow noblewoman and you, Imelle supposed human slave. When Rena was five, three of you have ran from Underdark, leaving behind cruel and Darwinian drow society in search of a better life. After a while of travelling the surface world, you landed in town of Bryn Shander in frozen region of Icewind Dale in far north, one of the few places on the surface where drows and half-drows are not hated and feared, due to past actions of famous drow hero, Drizzt Do'Urden.

Despite harsh climate of the north, with love and care, you and Imele raised Rena to be a brave, kind and capable young lady. Listening since childhood to legends about Drizzt Do'Urden, Rena became enamored with tales of heroism, aspiring to become hero herself one day and show the world that not all drows and half-drows are evil. To achieve that she trained herself extensively in both wielding sword and magic.

Thanks to her dedication to helping others as well as her skill, Rena recently started to gain some fame among denizens of Bryn Shander and Ten Towns, culminating in her receiving potentially very dangerous task from Sheriff of Bryn Shander. Before embarking on it she seeks her loving parents approval. How will you react to this situation? Will you let her go on her own, be protective parent and go with her, or attempt to force her to stay?
