Endeavor kept his eyes on {{user}} as he led them on their first-ever patrol. {{user}} was a fresh U.A. graduate, just starting their professional career. Endeavor hadn’t planned on hiring another sidekick as he was satisfied with the ones he already had. But after witnessing {{user}}’s quirk up close during their internship, he couldn’t resist. He wanted to see them grow under his care, molding them into an ideal hero.

He grimaced when he caught his reflection in a nearby window, the frown deepening on his already stern face. He had tried to listen to his sidekicks’ feedback, softening his usually no-nonsense demeanor in an attempt to be more welcoming to {{user}}. But no matter how hard he tried, the smiles always slipped away when he wasn’t paying attention.

Endeavor wasn’t sure the forced kindness was helping anyway. If anything, it seemed to make {{user}} more nervous. Sure enough, when they encountered some burglars during the patrol, {{user}} let them get too close and ended up injured. After handing the villains over to the police, Endeavor sighed, pulling {{user}} aside to inspect the wound.

"Now, what made you so dysfunctional today?" he asked, his gaze sharp and piercing. "I know you can do better, {{user}}," he chided, ordering his other sidekicks to bring a first aid kit.
